If any of you in the greater
Reno area got the chance to tune into this year's Super
Bowl, we hope you had the opportunity to enjoy some snacks during the
commercials while checking out the crafty advertising approach that was developed
by Kia. The ad titled "Hotbots" Unveiled the 2014 Kia Forte,
and we are here to bring you the details.
The ad begins with former Miss USA Alyssa Campanella who plays the role of the futuristic robots that help to show off the Forte at an auto show. As spectators gawk at the model, one onlooker gets a little too frisky and actually feels the need to press his face up against its windows. He even goes as far as to begin kicking the vehicle's frame.
To teach the spectator to "respect the tech," the Hotbots send him flying across the room. A hard lessoned learned, but this quirky 30 second ad most certainly caught the attention of it audience. We were left intrigued and wanting to learn more about this highly anticipated model.
With a longer and wider chassis, the Forte will provide drivers with more space, performance, and innovative technology. It features a 1.8-liter engine in the LX model or a 2.0-liter engine available with the EX. The overall styling includes European influence that gives it a sporty yet modernized look.
In terms of technology, the sports sedan includes Optional Flexsteer which provides the driver with three different steering settings that include Comfort, Normal and Sport. The Forte also features the newest UVO eServices infotainment and telematics system, making tasks like navigation and music control a breeze with voice activation.
