With all of the upgraded models being added to the new Kia lineup, people are definitely bound to take notice, especially the car experts at Kelley Blue Book. They recently released their "10 Best SUVs Under $25,000" list and among the models recognized, was one of our favorites at Tom Dolan's Reno Kia, the 2014 Kia Sorento. Let's take a closer look at the features that really made it stand out.
Coming in at number fifth on the list, the redesigned Sorento captured the attention of editors at KBB with its compact size, spacious interior, enhanced design and variety of standard features on board. Also noted was its fuel-efficiency and the interior's ability to comfortably fit a family of seven.
Now available in four different trim levels, the CUV offers standard features that include Bluetooth, USB capabilities, a six-speaker sound system, and 17-alloy wheels. In terms of the base engine for the LX trim, it sports a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder that cranks out 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque when coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. All other trim levels sport a 3.3-liter V6 engine that generates 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque.
