Here at Tom Dolan's Reno Kia, we love bringing you the latest news about exciting upcoming summer events, especially when Kia plays a big role. This time around the automaker is spending some time getting ready for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup. As the official FIFA Partner of the event, it will be sending 198 new Kia models to Brazil where the Cup is being hosted.

To further explain the importance of having this supply of vehicles, Jay Neuhaus, Head of FIFA Marketing Brazil, states, "The vehicle handover is a vital part of the preparation for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 and we are pleased to have such a globally recognized automotive brand provide us with stylish, reliable and comfortable vehicles to safely transport our FIFA officials, VIPs and others."1

Some of the official tournament vehicles being used include the Optima sedan, and SUV's like the Sportage and Sorento. Kia is also helping to organize various activities, one of which includes the five-a-side "Kia Champ into the Arena" event. It gives amateur football teams a chance to compete with each other, as well as the opportunity to watch the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup semi-final match.

In addition, by participating in a contest called "Kia Lucky Drive to Brazil," fan can win the chance to experience the semi-final match.
