Here on our Kia blog we never seem to run out of news to report on, especially with all of the awards and recognitions the automaker has been collecting recently. This time around its latest achievement isn't in regards to a specific Kia model, but instead it is in praise of its innovative media site.
At the Interactive Media Awards (IMA), Kia was proud to see all of the hard work it put into its updated website finally pay off. The Best-in-Class award in the Public Relations category was presented to Kia for the redesigned platform it launched in November of 2012. The Kiamedia.com site is now more user-friendly, functional, and offers quality content to viewers who are looking to learn what the Kia brand is all about.
By looking at the overall design, content, and usability of the site, Kia was awarded 480 out of 500 possible points. Anne Lawrence, Director of Communications for IMA, commented on the automaker's Best-in-Class recognition explaining, "The abundance of high quality and up-to-date information, presented in a clean, organized and easily accessible way, makes Kiamedia a powerful, award-winning website."1
As the main communication channel for media sources who are seeking out the latest Kia news, the site provides information in a variety of formats. These include high-resolution videos, photography, product info and virtual press kits. In fact, here at Tom Dolan's Reno Kia we are frequently visiting the site to find material to share with our loyal readers.
After reading about your favorite vehicles on Kiamedia.com, we invite you to come see them in person at our Reno, NV showroom. The new Kia is just waiting to be explored, so come schedule your test drive, today!
