Tires don't last forever and need to get regularly serviced to keep your car in good working condition. Of course, you don't want to service your vehicle too early and have your tires replaced when they don’t need to get replaced. Instead, follow the three tricks to see if your tires are in need of service.

1) Observe the tread: Make sure that your tires have adequate treading on them and that they are not bald in certain spots, which may be a sign that you should rotate your tires.

2) Inflation: Check the level of inflation of your tires with a tire gauge and make sure that they are at the levels of recommended pressure. If not, then add air. If they quickly decrease it may be a sign of a pinhole in your tire.

3) Miles: Make sure you don't go over approximately 10,000 miles from tire inspection.

When you do bring your car in for a tire inspection, you should bring your vehicle to us at Dolan KIA in Reno, NV, where we have a great idea of how to check and replace your tires.
